Treviso (I) 27/11/99 Sound Conspiracy Report

I was at the Sound Conspiracy party in Treviso... Maybe you already know what happened. A guy (30yold) is died maybe for the cold (under zero), for high alcool, drugs, nobody know exactly, but the reason isn't important... I think it's necessary to create a new vision of the movement, new aims... and I've seen you're already do something (a SoundSystem meeting!!! very good!). Molto freddamente e razionalmente dico bellissima... ma la morte del ragazzo Domenica mattina ha creato vuoto e negatività, interiore, emozionale.... una forte sensaz. di delusione... Tra l'altro lo conoscievo anche solo se di vista... E' stata una cosa che ha rovinato e imparanoiato tutti! Per come sono fatto, senza spiegare i perchè e i come, lo vedo molto come un segno... forse doveva succedere. !!!! Bisogna assolutamente creare e rendere questo microcosmo più nuovo... siamo forse arrivati alla saturazione... e arrivata agli sgoccioli la cultura e i valori che portavano avanti il movimento... servono nuove idee e trasformazioni.... ... banchetti informativi... harm reduction project... i sound system, sono loro che devono capire queste cose.... e se le capiranno verranno aiutati...!!!! Mi trovo spiazzato dopo quello che e' avvenuto, e' veramente giunta la fine di tutto cio'? Senza commentare poi le notizie che spargono i media in un momento come questo, anche il canale di informazioni che doveva essere strettamente riservato e' stato sputtanato; ci saranno altre feste in giro, cosa sara' successo a tutti ai ragazzi che sono rimasti bloccati dai carabinieri e dalla guardia di finanza? Comunque si e' giunti inevitabilmente ad un punto che sta mettendo in crisi tutto il sistema, apprezzo moltissimo l'idea di organizzare un forum, ma all' stesso tempo mi chiedo, si riuscira' a tenere in vita questa cultura?, e come si potra' mai trovare altri canali di comunicazione ora che il letame ha invaso tutto, non bisogna arrendersi di fronte all'ignoranza abissale che ci circonda dobbiamo collaborare e tentare di dare del nostro meglio. vanni

As you know the italian tv and the media in general were very strong against tekno music and raves after the facts occured in Treviso ... (I was there and the party has been simply fantastic, the music was extremely good, and the place and people too, something very special for the nordest area, were only money and work seem to be important, were culture and music are considered hobbies for people who do not want to work.. a pity for that guy, who could not find the limit between joy and death, but this should not mean we all are responsible, I think...). marina

I was in the Sound Cospiracy party in Treviso and think that it was very very good: the music, the people, the atmosfear, the place. I hoped in the come back in italy of the Sound Cospiracy because I think that their are a very good group for much reasons. DnL
