Début janvier 2001, Kanyar a publié le texte "Free party, c'est fini", stigmatisant l'état de délabrement extrême et la perte de sens de ces fêtes auxquelles le site était dédié. Ce n'est pas un constat que l'équipe a fait à la légère, car depuis longtemps nous pointons les défauts et les mauvaises dérives de ces fêtes et tentons à notre manière d'apporter un souffle nouveau (about future, bilan du meeting, flyer, intersoundz site...). Fallait-il continuer à panser le monstre et à reboucher les fuites ? Plus que sur une fin, nous insistons sur une volonté de RENOUVEAU, de REEL CHANGEMENT. Partir sur un slogan aussi fort se voulait certes provocateur. A-t- on réellement le droit d'affirmer "Free party is dead" ? On ne pourra jamais prétendre changer le cours des choses à nous seuls, mais c'est une certaine conception de la party qui est définitivement morte pour nous aujourd'hui (et pour beaucoup d'autres, nous en avons la preuve par vos très nombreuses réactions).Bien entendu, les freeparties ne manqueront pas de continuer à côté, nous ne prétendons aucunement être capables de mettre un terme à ces événements. Mais elles ne nous intéressent plus en l'état. C'est pourquoi nous tentons ici de rassembler les bonnes énergies et les bonnes idées qui seront susceptibles de nous apporter le souffle nouveau, l'espoir qui a déserté ce mouvement depuis trop longtemps déjà. Nous ne détenons ni la vérité, ni la science infuse, ni le pouvoir de décision en quelque matière que ce soit, ni même la/les solutions, mais nous tentons à notre manière d'aider les choses sans prétendre aucunement à l'universalité quelle qu'elle soit, nous ne sommes qu'un MEDIA, un SUPPORT, une AIDE. C'est pourquoi nous mettons ces différents FORUMS à votre disposition. |

Was it necessary to continue to bandage the monster and to stop the escapes ? More than on an end, we insist on a will of REVIVAL, REEL CHANGE. A begining with such a strong slogan wanted certainly to be provocative. Is there really the right to affirm " Free party is dead " ? We aren't able to only change the course of the things by ourselves, but it is a certain design of the party which definitively died for us today (and for many others, we have the proof by your numerous reactions). Of course, the freeparties will continue at side, we at all do not claim to be able to put a term at these events. But they do not interest us any more in this state. This is why we try here to gather good energies and the good ideas which will be likely to bring the new breath to us, the hope which deserted this movement since too a long time. We hold neither the truth, neither the Science, neither the decision-making power in some matter either, nor even THE solutions, but we try with our manner of helping the things without claiming at all to the universality whatever it is, we are only a MEDIA, a SUPPORT, a HELP. This is why we place these various FORUMS at your disposal. |
